Day 1 of 6 Days Uganda Primates Safari: Kampala – Kibale Forest National Park

Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. Afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit. Meals and over night at Kyaninga Lodge. A stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”. Meal plan: (L, D).

Day 2: Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Uganda – Bwindi Forest

Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primate including phoestes, red Colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here you may spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Day 3 of 6 Days Uganda Primates Safari: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a village walk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way. The Walk begins with your guide at your Camp and is most informative, rewarding to the average visitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Dinner and overnight stay at Sanctuary Gorilla forest Camp Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is dedicated for another Gorilla trek, we will ensure you will have another Gorilla family allocated for your comparison experiences. The afternoon will be spent on relaxation and sightseeing around your lodge Dinner and overnight stay at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 5 of 6 Days Uganda Primates Safari: Fly from Bwindi – Jinja

Please Note: I would recommend, you fly from Bwindi to Entebbe and we transfer you from Entebbe then to Jinja due the distance from Bwindi to Jinja that can take nearly up to +12 hrs

After morning breakfast head to the Kihihi airstrip to catch up your morning flight at 09:45 arriving Entebbe 11:25. You will be picked up on arrival at Entebbe for your onward transfer to Jinja with your lunch en route. The afternoon is spent on sightseeing and relaxation at Jinja Nile Resort (Nile Facing Cottages). Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Full Day White Water Rafting – Entebbe

After your morning breakfast, continue for rafting briefing, here you choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. After a buffet lunch you will hit a series of more wild rapids and wind the evening with BBQ snacks after rafting. Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, You will be dropped to Entebbe Airport to catch up your out bound flight to your next destination or back home. Meal plan: (B, L) End of services.
