Detailed Itineraray of 15 Days Kenya & Uganda Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by our representative and transferred to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley for photos and sightseeing. Masai Mara, known for its rolling hills and vast grasslands, supports some of the most diverse wildlife in Africa. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive where you can spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, and a variety of other plains game, along with hundreds of bird species.

Day 2 : Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will embark on a full day of game drives across the iconic Masai Mara, which forms the northern extension of the famous Serengeti ecosystem. The reserve is home to one of Africa’s largest populations of big cats and other predators. During your safari, you can expect to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of other wildlife roaming freely across the savannah. After a day of unforgettable wildlife encounters, you will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Hot Air Balloon Safari and Transfer to Naivasha
On the third day, you’ll wake up early for a hot air balloon safari over the vast savannah plains of the Masai Mara. Your guide will drive you to the launch site, where after inflation, you’ll drift above the rolling grasslands and kopjes, enjoying a spectacular aerial view of the Mara’s wildlife. From above, you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, kudus, hartebeests, and waterbucks, as well as the meandering rivers that carve the landscape. After landing, enjoy a delicious bush breakfast before transferring to Lake Naivasha, where you can relax or take part in a boat cruise or an optional cycling adventure in Hells Gate National Park.

Day 4 : Transfer to Amboseli with Enroute Game Drive in Nairobi National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Nairobi National Park, with your safari guide leading the way. Upon arrival, you’ll register at the park headquarters and set out on a game drive in this unique urban wildlife sanctuary. Nairobi National Park is home to four of Africa’s Big Five — lions, leopards, buffaloes, and black rhinoceros — along with a variety of other herbivores such as wildebeests, Grant’s zebras, elands, impalas, gazelles, warthogs, and Maasai giraffes. You may also spot baboons, hippos, ostriches, and numerous bird species. After this urban safari experience, continue your journey to Amboseli National Park, arriving in the evening for check-in and dinner at your lodge.

Day 5 : Full Day Amboseli National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game drive from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. to catch the African sunrise and witness the savannah come alive. Return to the lodge for breakfast before setting out for a full day of safari with a packed picnic lunch. During the heat of the day, animals often gather near water sources, while predators are less active, but as the sun lowers, wildlife activity picks up again. Amboseli is home to all members of the Big Five year-round, as well as over 470 bird species, including raptors and migratory birds. After an exciting day in the park, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 : Transfer to Nairobi and Departure for Entebbe
After breakfast, you will be transferred from Amboseli to Nairobi for your flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy dinner after your journey.

Day 7 : Transfer to Murchison Falls with Ziwa Rhino Trekking
Following an early breakfast, depart northwest from Kampala toward Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience. Continue to Murchison Falls, pausing at the top to marvel at the Nile River forcing its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging 43 meters below. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 8 : Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start the day with a morning game drive along the northern banks of the Nile, spotting various wildlife with your guide. Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest before lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can see hippos, giant crocodiles, birds, Uganda kobs, elephants, and waterbucks. Optional: hike to the top of the falls for stunning views. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9 : Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive southwest through the scenic Albertine Rift Valley, stopping for lunch en route. Arrive at Kibale Forest National Park, home to 13 primate species, including chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. In the evening, enjoy a guided nature walk and a community visit to learn about local life.

Day 10 : Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
After breakfast, embark on chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, which hosts the highest number of primate species in Uganda. Observe chimpanzees and other species such as the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and olive baboons. The trek lasts 2–3 hours. Afterward, take a Bigodi Swamp walk to see birds and smaller mammals. Return to the lodge for lunch, dinner, and overnight.

Day 11 : Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart Kibale in the morning and enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains en route. Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, antelopes, and warthogs. Later, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a 42 km waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George, with excellent opportunities to photograph hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and over 500 bird species.

Day 12 : Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the afternoon, transfer to the Ishasha sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13 : Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 14 : Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Track endangered mountain gorillas through Bwindi’s dense forest with an experienced ranger. Trekking duration varies depending on the gorillas’ location. You’ll be provided with walking sticks and are advised to wear sturdy boots and a light rain jacket. Spend one hour with the gorillas, observing their social behaviors, before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 15 : Transfer to Entebbe
