Day 1: Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi & Check-In at Luxury Lodge

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast at your luxury lodge, your guide will transfer you to the Bwindi Park headquarters for the start of your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure. Arrive by 8:00 AM for a mandatory briefing led by experienced park rangers. During this session, you’ll learn about the history of gorilla conservation, the rules of trekking, and how to safely and respectfully interact with these gentle giants. You will also be assigned to a habituated gorilla family, with trekking groups typically limited to eight people for an intimate and low-impact experience.
Accompanied by armed rangers and an expert tracker, you’ll head into the dense, mist-covered jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of your assigned gorilla group and the terrain.
