Day 1: Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park via Rwanda’s Scenic Highlands

The hike begins at the Bisoke trailhead and takes about 6–7 hours round-trip, depending on pace and weather. The trail winds through dense rainforest, afro-alpine vegetation, and rugged volcanic terrain. Along the way, your guide may point out unique birds, forest creatures, or even signs of gorillas that inhabit the area. Reaching the summit is a rewarding experience—with panoramic views across the Virunga range and the beautiful crater lake shimmering below.
