Detailed Itinerary of Uganda Rwanda Kenya Safari

Day 1 : Arrival in Entebbe → Transfer to Kibale National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll meet your driver-guide and embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, passing lush countryside, rolling hills, and local villages.
Check into your lodge and relax after your journey, preparing for primate adventures the next day.

Day 2 : Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your guided chimpanzee trek. Walk 2–3 hours through tropical rainforest, spotting chimpanzees and other primates such as colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and mangabeys.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Optional afternoon Bigodi Swamp walk offers birdwatching and smaller wildlife sightings.

Day 3 : Kibale → Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, depart Kibale and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Kigezi Highlands and terraced hills along the way. Stop for photos and short walks in local villages.
Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, check in, and unwind before the gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 4 : Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Start early with breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for registration and a detailed briefing. Embark on your guided gorilla trek, which may take 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location.
Spend one unforgettable hour observing these majestic primates in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for relaxation. Optional cultural visits or community walks are available in the afternoon.

Day 5 : Bwindi → Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda)

Check into your lodge and rest, preparing for the next day’s Golden Monkey trekking.

Day 6 : Golden Monkey Trek & Transfer to Kigali

After the trek, return to the lodge, then transfer to Kigali for your evening flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Arrive and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 : Fly to Maasai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your domestic flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife.
